When using the WYSIWYG editor, a link does not stick to the text. When using the Markdown editor it works fine.

Solved by Andy Miller View solution
I'm in wysiwyg and i put a plain link here: https://getgrav.org/forum that links to forum, it automatically converts to a link.
The toolbar button does not insert a link at cursor, buttons don't seem to be working. Will look at that.

This is now fixed here's a test of a custom link and this is back to normal text.
Could it be why the two topics at the very bottom here are not linked?
