Search how to use? or TNT or Simplesearch

I have done some major work to my website. The front end looks the same, but major data work has been done. Now, I want to enable TNT Search... and use it. Enabling it is a cinch, using it... not so much. I have it enabled, I have indexed my stuff, and it works when I visit www.biblia.reinavaleragomez.com/search. However, I have no idea how to get it to show up on my main menu, or pages. I'm using the learn2-git-sync template. Any help, would greatly be appreciated.

So, for kicks, I enabled SimpleSearch plugin, which hasn't been updated in 2 years. It worked automagically, and put a search bar in my main menu as I hoped. It also seems to work a little better. I'm not sure how to index the site though.

Tnt tried to search as I typed, which hindered typing. It deleted letters as I was trying to type, because it wasn't done searching. Probably a way to shut that off.
