sure
as already stated here, my Goal was to build a static site which can survive a long time without maintenance, PHP updates etc. when I'm gone.
my first approach was to build a static site from Grav via Blackhole, but that did not work out very well.
Then I investigated some SSG's (Pelican, Jekyll, Hugo) and found Hugo suited best for my needs.
@Gin : unfortunately, I missed the fact that your question was addressed at @JennyLIU .
so, just ignore my previous post
For what it’s worth, I don’t feel super competent in many aspects that seem important to the project to me, but I do create all my websites with Grav and I have a vested interest in picking up the slack. So please, link to the blog post whenever it’s done so I won’t miss it, that would be lovely!
I’ve said this before and it still stands. I would love to have ways to help. Since there hasn’t been a how to help post yet (afaik), I would like to offer helping to write that. This I feel is firmly in my area of expertise: tackling a huge mountain of stuff, sorting it out neatly, and writing it up in a way that makes it accessible. (And incidentally, I also have a lot of experience with projects getting too big for one person, most of them not even mine, and keeping a group in cooperative shape.)
So seriously @rhuk – hit me up for a chat. It seems to me there are quite a few folks who want to help out, many of them at least able to tackle issues and submit pull requests for Grav. I think you don’t have to do this alone. 💜
If you want to help out I suggest getting in discord and chatting there. I’m there every day. I rarely visit these forums. Cheers.
I really enjoy the spike of activity! So many core plugin updates and Grav releases lately and I like the activity for Grav 1.8 and 2.0 🎉 Would be cool to see more devs though, looks like Andy is doing the heavy lifting. I'm no use to you, but I hope more people can step in. In support I'll buy one of those new themes soon (I bought the Lightbox Gallery plugin instead). Thanks for all the hard work!

Isn't Discord bad SEO? Discord is not indexed and it's pure chaos. If needed, you can enable chat on this forum as well. But chat is all in the moment. I think it would require more energy to maintain such a support channel.
