How to edit my own post?

Just created a new post, added a link which didn't come through and made a typo... How can I reopen the topic?

You should be able to edit within a time window.. i think this is a bug, looking into it.

I'm used to edit my posts to correct, clarify, add comments, etc, even days/weeks after saving it... Why a time limit?

it's a security feature really, stop forum manipulation and changing context when there are replies to the original context. Was defaulted to 3 hours, but i've turned it off now.
