Image Compare (part of Shortcode UI) not working

hello all,

would be really interested in the "image compare" feature of the Shortcode UI plug-in. but unfortunately it won't work.

tried it with the example (although i don't quite understand what the ?cache is for).

but it is not showing up on the rendered page. 🤷‍♂️

any ideas, what i am doing wrong? am i missing any dependencies?
