SEO implications of changing skeleton?

Hello!

I am currently using Grav+Medium theme for my blog. However, I found the Medium theme a bit buggy, and I'd like to shift to Grav's official blog skeleton.

I've been running my blog a few months now, and I have some traffic. I'd like to impose no negative impact on my blog traffic after this shift.

My concern is: would shifting to a new blog skeleton have a negative effect on my Google/Bing rankings?

My understanding is: as long as I maintain the same urls for all my blog posts, it should appear the same from the search engines' standpoint. Granted, markup and styles are changed, but as long as the text content and the urls remain the same, things should be fine.

What's your experience like? Can you please share your thoughts?

Thanks!
