Retired IT manager with 35+ years of hands-on experience in PC hardware, networking, small business network design, and web development. I started in tech in 1989, ran my own computer sales and service company through the late 90s, and spent the last 20 years managing IT, websites, and technical support operations for a manufacturer in Iowa.
On the web side, I've worked with raw HTML, various CMS platforms, and I'm currently building sites with GRAV 1.7. I'd describe my skill level as intermediate --- I can read PHP, and I know enough to be dangerous, but I'm not a developer by trade.
I'm here primarily to get help sorting out some upgrade issues, but I'm happy to contribute where my experience is useful.
