Simplesearch 'exclude' page option?

I don't have a blog on the website, and don't use taxonomies... The plugin SimpleSearch is working correct, but i'd like to know if there's a way of excluding certain pages with a frontmatter setting for example?

Currently the plugin can only include, not exclude. Looks like something useful to add. Now you can achieve what you want by adding a "searchable" tag to all pages for example.
