Oops. Image causing error 500?

Hi, I just updated a new image which was intended to replace the default header.jpg in tesselate theme

So I just uploaded a jpg in user/themes/tessellate/assets/images folder

Header

Now this is causing an error 500. Any Idea why? I've tried reducing the size of the image, and clearing the cache. To no avail.
