New post via admin redirects with extra / in URL

When I create a page and hit save, it redirects me to the page with an extra parent in the URL. For example, if I make a page that's a child of "home" called "test", the redirect URL is /home/home/test instead of /home/test. This page appears as blank and I need to go back to the page list and into the one I created to continue editing. Is there anywhere I can reconfigure this? Thanks for your time!
