"Events" Plugin – 404 page not found

Hello Community,

I am getting a 404 page not found error once i access any event page The listings page of all the events works just fine – i think I am overseeing something very simple, perhaps a configuration issue.

Can you point me in the right direction?

Additional info: I'm using the sample pages provided by the maintainer:

To be even more exact:
The virtual pages are not working. I mean the pages with an unique path / a 6 character tokenized suffix.
If i remove the tokenized suffix, the page itself is displayed correctly
