I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or the documentation of lightslider is not enough, but I couldn't make it work. I think my problem is that I don't know where to place the images and how lightslider finds them. Any help?

You put the images in the page directory where your lightslider .md file is located. You can download the shop skeleton and look in there for a working example.

the text mode is a bit weird. you get nothing unless you have pictures called image-1.jpg etc (not even the text). Also, i think they have to be called exactly that and they have to be jpeg (i think).
switch it into image mode to get it working and put any images there. names not important in this mode. Also pngs work
