Twig plugins in error due to "certificate verify failed"

I used tricks from other threads to workaround certificate verification issues while upgrading Grav.

But I'm now facing a "similar" certificate verification issue within my Twig plugins that are KO:

TXT
Twig \ Error \ RuntimeError

An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("file_get_contents(): SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed") in

Anyone already faced this issue? Any idea on how to troubleshoot that?

Maybe this will help

Unfortunately the options for remote verify peers in advance settings have no impact on my twig plugin errors.
