@mikegcox, elegant use of the calendar. What were the steps taken to get the calendar on the page? I assume that you are using a calendar api but it sure doesn't look like google calendar. Didn't want to poke around to much as it's a live site. Well done.

That calendar was a good find. It integrates with Google Calendar or stand alone. I just used the wizard and connected to a Google calendar. The project is here: http://booking.timekit.io/setup

My site is available in both English and French and I use a trick for language switching: I created a page with a font awsome icon that redirect user to it language. This trick has a limitation: the redirection page is always the home page.
