  Thanks! I assume you are referring to the admin plugin? Will get it (re)installed then :)

  In the modular page advanced settings disable Visible to remove the item from the menu.

  Is there a way to do this? I tried leaving both the menu and title fields blank at the Front Matter, but then the folder's name (_foldername) is rendered on the nav bar.

  Yes this is possible. Grav already understands most document types, and you can add more via the media configuration: https://learn.getgrav.org/content/media#supported-media-files
