    We have plans to create a DB plugin at some point but there is nothing from stopping you do so already. Grav already has all the bits in place to allow such a plugin to be developed.

    You can implement a database object then you can access on it, I think implement sqlite implementation for event plugin because the stardard flat file it's useless imho.

    Does Disqus do OK on a local development server when the Disqus servers can't reach it?

    I've personally used them all, and my favorite used to be Intense Debate, but I've more recently switched to Disqus and prefer it. Faster, cleaner, and looks better.

    Is it possible your webhost has disabled access to the glob function in PHP? Do you have access to your PHP error logs? BTW You can disable the Problems plugin by just creating a file: user/config/p
