It looked to be an easy install but

So download a zip, unzip, move to webroot - in my case /var/www/html/grav. The first - and simplest - way is to download the zip archive, and extract it
Except nothing shows up on the browser in either a Debian or Centos server. On a local server I did get something going using a ~ directory using php -S localhost:8000 system/ router . php . so must be Apache.
Check the .htaccess file and a Test. on the first line made no difference. So into the httpd.conf file to set ```
AllowOverride All
Restart Apache and still nothing. How can something so easy be going wrong?
