Grav - use grav in composer-based projects

Hi,

we plan to use the Git-based workflow to keep our site in-sync with the dev environment.

After reading the doc, with composer create-project seems to be the only option to use grav with composer. Are there any tutorials showing how to create our own project with composer.json and use grav just as a normal php package as runtime dependency?
