Three weeks ago I told you KahunaCart was nearly ready. Today it is for sale. KahunaCart 1.2.8 is on GPM, the docs are up, the demo is still open, and this morning the early access email went out to everyone on the launch list.
What you get
$249 per site, once. That buys the whole store: catalog, cart, checkout, orders, tax, shipping, digital downloads, customer accounts and the full back office inside the Grav admin. The first year of updates and support is included. There are no transaction fees, and no limits on products, orders or customers. Stripe, Polar, PayPal, offline payments and a test provider are in the box, so you can take money the same afternoon.
Three add-ons are available today, and each one attaches to the same licence key:
- License Keys ($129) sells software keys and handles activations and update windows. It is the add-on selling KahunaCart itself.
- Subscriptions ($129) runs recurring plans.
- Newsletters ($149) is the mailing list, the campaigns and the automations, built on the customer records the shop already has.
After the first year, renewal is $99 and optional. It covers everything on that key, add-ons included. And if you skip a year nothing switches off. The free Kahuna storefront theme comes with it.
The early access price is still open
Everyone on the launch list got a personal code this morning: 50% off KahunaCart and every add-on, good for thirty days, and buying with it puts you in the founders group with a renewal of $49 a year for the life of the licence.
Not on the list? You have not missed it. Sign up for the newsletter at kahunacart.com and the same code comes straight to your inbox. The offer is for the first 50 customers, and we will keep pointing people at it from here until those spots are gone.
A whole store in one download
You do not have to assemble anything. Buy KahunaCart and your account page at kahunacart.com hands you a ready-to-run package: a complete Grav site with KahunaCart installed, every add-on your key covers, the Kahuna storefront theme, a sample catalogue to play with, and your licence key already in place. Download it, unzip it, point a web server at the folder, and you are looking at your store. Swap the sample products for yours and pick a payment provider. That is the whole setup, and the Getting started chapter walks through it.
Already running a Grav 2.1 site? KahunaCart is on the downloads page and installs from Plugins in the admin or through GPM like any other plugin, with your key entered through License Manager.
Go and look
The launch post on kahunacart.com has the full story. The demo store resets every hour, so break whatever you like. Questions, bugs and opinions go to the KahunaCart Discord, or find us in the usual place on chat.getgrav.org.
It has taken eight years to get here. Go build a store!
